William Collins “Bill” Bottoms

William Collins “Bill” Bottoms, age 77 of Willisburg, KY passed away at 6:49 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Mercer County on April 3, 1946 to the late Willie D. and Mary Anna Prewitt Bottoms.

He was a member of the Thompsonville Baptist Church, a 1965 graduate of Mackville High School and a self-employed truck driver.

Preceding him in death was an infant son, Wesley Todd Bottoms on May 6, 1966 and a granddaughter, Tiffani Amber Curtsinger on December 6, 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle Settles Bottoms; a daughter, Tanya Roach (James) of Willisburg; a son, Stacy Bottoms (Abby) of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two grandchildren, Megan Campbell and Blake Bottoms; four step grandchildren, Noelle, Kate, Alex and Emma Roach and a brother, Eddie Bottoms (Kenda) of Owenton.

Visitation will be from 3 until 5 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow the visitation.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
