Wilbert Darrell Milburn

Wilbert Darrell Milburn, age 75, of Chaplin, KY passed away Saturday morning, January 20, 2024 at his home.

A native of Nelson County, he was born on July 22, 1948 to the late Estill and Mary Evelyn Burkhead Milburn.

He was a member of the Bloomfield Church of God, a retired truck driver and mechanic.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Marilyn Scamahorn Milburn on May 18, 2019; a daughter, Vickie Lynn Milburn on June 4, 1972 and a brother, Charles Edward Milburn on July 28, 2016.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Lynn Crowe Long (David) of Chaplin; three grandchildren, Ashley Crowe, Dereck Crowe (Chelsie) and Joshua Crowe; two great grandchildren, Cameron Jeffries and Dalton Crowe; two sisters, Ann Jackson and Helen Yates both of Bloomfield and two brothers, Jimmie Milburn (Ruthie) and Phillip Milburn of Chaplin and his dog, Gizmo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27th at the Bloomfield Church of God with Rev. Judy Wilson, officiating.

Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.

Visitation will be at the church from 5 until 8 Friday and after 9:00 Saturday morning until time of the service.
