Wayne Waldridge

Bobby Wayne “Higgins” Waldridge, age 56, of Springfield, KY passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 31, 2022 in Montgomery County, KY due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.

He was born in Shelby County on June 19, 1965 to the late Bobby Gene and Martha Faye Thomas Waldridge.

He attended the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy, was a 1983 graduate of Nelson County High School and an employee of Old Dominion Freight Line.

Survivors include his two daughters, Hayley Waldridge and Hannah Waldridge of Springfield and two sisters, Sandy Hawkins (Wayne) of Chaplin and Cathy Coleman (Craig) of Stanford.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Creech, pastor of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.

Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Marty Lewis, Levi Ray, Joey Spalding, Lynn Burns, Chad Kirsch and D.J. Carney.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
