Vianna (Hood) Boblitt

Vianna Hood Boblitt, age 72, of Spaulding Lane, Springfield, KY passed away at 4:17 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Lebanon, KY on March 7, 1951 to the late Earl and Rosie Frances Milburn Hood.

She was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul Allen Boblitt on June 10, 2015; a sister, Christine Carrier on June 14, 2021 and five brothers, Jackie Hood on February 6, 1949, Wilmer Leon Hood on December 30, 1965, Leroy Hood on January 30, 2016, Earl William Hood on March 2, 2020 and Frankie Hood on May 25, 2020.

Survivors include, two sons, Travis Allen Boblitt (Tina) of Lebanon and Tracy Lee Boblitt (Kimberly Lewis) of Springfield; three daughters, Renee Johnson (Gary) of Springfield, Brendi Christine Garcia (Abraham) of Bardstown and Paige Lynette Darland (Denny) of Mooresville; twelve grandchildren, Anna Boblitt, Troy Boblitt, Blake Blanford, Trevor Boblitt, Andrinna Boblitt, Ryan Boblitt, Lindsey Boblitt, Amber Curtsinger, A’laiyah Faith Young, Lillian Young, Bailey Johnson and Connor Johnson; six great grandchildren, Lincoln, Aralynn, Mackinley and Owen Boblitt, Ava Decker and Ayden Johnson; a brother, Donald “Duck” Hood (Marie) of Springfield and three sisters, Vesta Lee Moore of Springfield, Myrna Shouse of Frankfort and Wanda Lee Popp (Jamie) of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 21st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Willingham, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. John McDaniel.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Anna, Andrinna, Aralynn, Mackinley, Owen and Lindsey Boblitt, Amber Curtsinger, Ava Decker, A’laiyah,  Lillian Young and Connor Johnson.

Serving as casket bearers will be Troy, Trevor, Lincoln and Ryan Boblitt, Blake Blanford and Bailey Johnson.

Visitation will be from 4until 8 Thursday and after 8:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
