Sunday Lou (Henson) Hughes

Sunday Lou Henson Hughes, age 67, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 5:40 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024,  at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born in Lexington on December 21, 1956 to the late Frank and Viola Arnold Henson and was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was a son, Michael “Bo” Hughes, Jr. on October 29, 2022; a niece that she raised, Bobbi Sue Hall on October 21, 2016;

a sister, Jeannie Hall and two brothers, Johnny Henson and Dee Henson.

Survivors include her husband, Michael E. Hughes.; a daughter, Jeannie Stanley and her husband, Adam of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren;

one great grandchild and two sisters, Betty Jean Adams of New Mexico and Ola Wells of Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Willingham officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be after 9:30 Wednesday morning until the time of the service.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
