Sue (Warner) Hooper

Marilyn Sue Warner Hooper, age 67, of Lincoln Park Road, Springfield, KY passed away at 6:23 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her home after an illness.

She was born on August 21, 1955 in Harrodsburg, KY to the late Hollie J. and Ruby Elizabeth Coulter Warner.

She was of the Christian faith and was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Warner.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Hooper, Sr.; a son, Billy Hooper, Jr. of Springfield; a daughter, Denise Shively (Sam) of Mackville; five grandchildren, Katie Shively, Laura Shively, Cameron Shively, Braden Hooper and Bella Hooper; a sister, Betty Cook of Frankfort; two brothers, Ronnie Warner (Marilyn) of Huntsville, AL and David Warner (Donna) of Frankfort and a sister-in-law, Jeannie Mattingly Warner of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Yankey, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
