Steven Morris Sweazy

Steven Morris Sweazy, age 68, of Lebanon, KY formerly of Springfield passed away at 4:22 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on July 23, 1957 to the late Morris G. and Pauline Crouch Sweazy.

He was a self-employed painter and a 1975 graduate of Washington County High School.

Survivors include a son, Matthew Sweazy and a daughter, Amanda Sweazy both of Lebanon; a step daughter, Rebecca Castillo of Springfield; a granddaughter, Allyson Lyvers; a step grandson, Ethan Marshall; a sister, Shannon Epperson (Mike) of Springfield and a brother, Mark Sweazy (Nancy) of Greensburg.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Tuesday morning, June 16th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating.

Inurnment will be on Cemetery Hill.

Visitation will be after 9:00 Tuesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
