Sherri Lynette "Sissy" Padgett

Sherri Lynette “Sissy” Padgett, age 58, of Bardstown, KY formerly of Marion County, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10:47 p.m., at her home in Bardstown.

She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on July 6, 1963 to the late Alvin “Joe Buck” and Genettia Smothers Padgett.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at Gravel Switch.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Nancy Tennill on January 20, 2008 and Dorothy Daugherty on May 18, 2016 and a brother, Darrell Padgett on January 2, 2014.

Survivors include a sister, Sue Teater and her husband, Russell of Springfield; a brother, Robbie Padgett and his wife, Judith of Perryville and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18th at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Benny McCarty, officiating.

Her cremains will be buried in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
