Shelby Jean Yantis, age 76, of Springfield, KY passed away at 6:40 a.m., Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab Center.
A native of Washington County, she was born on March 29, 1949 to the late Sylvester and Martha Grant Speaks Yantis.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield and a housekeeper. Preceding her in death were three sisters, Patsy Ruth Johnson, Sarah Yantis and Louise Young and a brother, James Yantis.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley Livers of Bardstown; two brothers, Billy Yantis (Cynthia) of Bardstown and Ronald Bruce Yantis (Betsy) of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6th at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Livers, officiating.
Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Frank Burton, Tim Findley, Tommy Riley and Ronald Lee Yantis.
Serving as casket bearers will be Bobby Joe Johnson, Chris Anthony Yantis, Robert Allen Young, Nathaniel Downs, Thomas Livers and Terry Scott.
Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church after 11:00 Saturday morning.
