Scottie S. Coslow, age 82, of Springfield, KY passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Baptist Health in Louisville.
A native of Washington County, he was born on September 8, 1942 to the late Willie H. and Mattie Frances Baker Coslow.
He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and a retired owner and operator of Coslow’s Body Shop.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Roger Dale Coslow on December 29, 2019 and three sisters, Nettie Rae Britton on December 26, 2016, Lula Bell Sallee Burkhead on June 26, 2017 and Dorkas Jane Gullett on February 22, 2018.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Pinkston Coslow; two sons, Craig Coslow and Mark Coslow of Springfield; a daughter, Carissa Coslow of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Erianna Newton, Marena Coslow and Madison Coslow; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Hughes Coslow of Harrodsburg and Harrison Coslow of Willisburg and three sisters, Barbara Stumph of Harrodsburg, Susan Graebe of Shelbyville and Dorothy Yates of Springfield.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26th at the Temple Baptist Church with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. J.W. Hatfield.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Coslow, Terry Coslow, Denny Coslow, Tony Coslow, Kevin Sallee and Donnie Stumph.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Temple Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at the church from 4 until 8 Tuesday and after 8:00 Wednesday morning.
