Ronald “Ronnie” Campbell Bagwell

Ronald “Ronnie” Campbell Bagwell, age 77, of Lebanon, KY passed away at 5:02 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025 at his home.

A native of Marion County, he was born on March 17, 1948 to the late Milton Jarboe and Anna Lorene Benedict Bagwell.

He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church, a 1966 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1970 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He was a retired carpentry teacher with the Marion County Vocational School. Ronnie sold and built log homes as well as a local distributor for Hardy Stoves.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Milton Bagwell, Jr. on December 7, 2013 and Thomas Warren Bagwell on September 2, 2018; an infant brother, Joseph Benedict Bagwell on June 10, 1943 and a nephew, Todd Allen Bagwell on January 19, 2006.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna Arvin Bagwell; his twin brother, Donnie (Connie) Bagwell of Lebanon; his sister, Pat (Bob Sr,) Mattingly of Louisville; two sisters –in-law, Gail Bagwell of LaGrange and Carmen (Erwin) Booth of Taylorsville; four nieces, Janet Bagwell, Anna (Todd) Sawyer, Patti (Ricky) Smith and Meredith (Craig) Thompson and five nephews, Donnie (Allyson) Bagwell, Jr., Stephen (Jessica) Bagwell, Eddie (Sue) Bagwell, Mike (Jessie) Bagwell and Bobby (Marylea) Mattingly, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9th at the Lebanon Baptist Church with Dr. David Whitlock, a former pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Bagwell, Donnie Bagwell, Jr., Stephen Bagwell, Nathan Bagwell, Jeremy Bagwell, Mike Bagwell and Bobby Jr. Mattingly.

Visitation will be at the Lebanon Baptist Church after 11:00 Saturday morning until time of the service.
