Elizabeth “Roddy” Mulligan Thomas, age 74, of Lebanon, KY passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at her home with her husband by her side.
She was born in Lebanon on August 28, 1950 to the late George Melvin and Margaret Godbey Mulligan.
Roddy worked at the former Mr, Miser’s and later spent over twenty years working for Pat’s Pharmacy of Lebanon. She was a 1968 graduate of the St, Catharine Academy. She always loved fishing, spending time with family and friends and taking care of her many dogs that she had over her lifetime. She will be truly missed by all.
Preceding her in death were three sisters, Mary Ann (Bill) Davenport, Nancy (Harry) Spalding and Jenny Mayo; two nieces, Gail Spalding Smith and Jennifer Mayo Crowe and a great nephew, Bailey Settles.
Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, David L. Thomas; her son, Michael (Rachael) Thomas of Louisville; grandson, Xavier Cole Morris Thomas; her fur baby, Sparky and a host of nieces and nephews and their families as well as her BFF’s, Haney Thomas and Bean Osborne.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 Thursday evening, April 3rd at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant, officiating.
Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be at the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hosparus Health Green River or the Marion County Animal Shelter.
Visitation will be after 3:00 Thursday until time of the service at Carey & Son Funeral Home.
