Robert Lee Teater

Robert Lee Teater, age 62, of Springfield, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on February 18, 1959.

He was a member of the Bradfordsville Christian Church.

Preceding him in death were his step-fathers, Ray Washburn and Darrell Phillips.

Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Noe Phillips of Lebanon; his father and step-mother, Russell and Sue Teater of Springfield; 1-step-son, Chris Grigsby of Springfield; two grandchildren, Joseph Grigsby and Jazmin Grigsby; a brother, Eddie Teater (Kathy) of Mt. Washington; a sister, Debbie Drury (Craig) of Lebanon and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 10th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Brown, officiating.

Burial will be in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Craig Drury, Sr., Greg Crews, Greg Shuffett, Eddie Teater, Jeff Godbey and Joe Grigsby.

Visitation will be after 11:00 Thursday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
