Robert Jr. Chesser

Robert Jr. Chesser, age 81, of Polin Road, Willisburg, passed away at 9:50 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Landmark of Bardstown Nursing & Rehab Center.

A native of Washington County, he was born on October 10, 1938 to the late Robert Lee and Ellie Frances Milburn Chesser.      

He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church and a retired farmer.

Preceding him in death was a step grandson, Harley Wayne Harris and two brothers, Leroy Chesser on February 1, 2015 and Clarence Ray Chesser on May 7, 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Imogene Baine Chesser; two step-sons, Kevin Lee Terrell of Bardstown and James William Walls of Springfield; a step granddaughter, Amanda Renee Harris; two step great grandchildren, Mylah Rayne Ward and Tucker Lee Ward; a brother, Tolbert Chesser (Helen) of Willisburg and four sisters, Juanita (Roy D.) Byrd of Chaplin, Rosell Bunch of Springfield, Mae Marple and Peggy Hawkins both of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 31st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Creech, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Monday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
