Richard Lynn “Richie” Smith

Richard Lynn “Richie” Smith, age 57. of, Shortlne Road, Lebanon, KY passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 5, 2022 on their farm while tending to their cattle.

He was born on September 18, 1965 in Lebanon, Kentucky.

He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and a truck driver for Randall Cox Trucking for twenty-five years and for Ballard Trucking Company.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Robert Lee Teater on June 7, 2021.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Warren Smith; a son, Casey Smith (Roshanta) of Springfield; five grandchildren, Anna Kate Smith, Myles Smith, Dekota Keene, Jackson Hourigan and Mikava Hourigan; his mother and step-father, Arlene and Johnny Reardon of Springfield; his father and step-mother, Russell and Sue Teater of Springfield; two sisters, Lisa Gonzalez (Juan) of South Carolina and Debbie Drury (Craig) of Lebanon and two brothers, Greg Bricken of North Carolina and Eddie Teater (Kathy) of Mt. Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 9th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Yankey, pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, officiating.

In keeping with his wishes cremation will follow the funeral services.

Visitation will be after 3:00 Friday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
