Prentice Allen Brady

Prentice Allen Brady, age 84, of Rizer Avenue, Springfield, KY passed away at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the home of his grandson in Springfield.

A native of Washington County, he was born on February 26, 1939 to the late Brisco and Gladys Mae Hall Brady.

He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, a graduate of Springfield High School, a retired employee of the General Electric Company of Louisville and was an employee of Parkview IGA since it began until recently.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Doris Brown Brady on May 9, 2021; his daughter, Debbie Brady Cambron on August 27, 2006; a son-in-law, John B. Cambron on October 2, 1992; a sister, Ella Frances Stevens on October 9, 1998; two brothers, Henry Everett Brady on December 8, 1979 and Donald Eugene Brady on August 29, 2007; his step-mother, Catherine Inman Brady on December 12, 2006 and a half-brother, James Herbert Brady on May 26, 2022.

Survivors include his two grandchildren, Brian Cambron (Tonya) of Springfield and Brittany Cambron (Alicia) of Clarksville, TN; four great grandchildren, Kayla Zwick, Collin Boone, Aislinn Moran and Rylee Moran and two half-brothers, Stanley Brady (Judy) and Teddy Joe Brady (Pat) of Bardstown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Gary Chesser.

Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Al Stevens, Keith Stevens, Jeff Brady, Rick Brady, Todd Brady and Steve Baker.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Tuesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
