Marice Junior “Pete” Warner, age 76, of Springfield, KY passed away at 8:42 a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
A native of Washington County, he was born on March 10, 1946 to the late Granville and Julia Settles Warner.
He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and a former employee of Inoac.
Preceding him in death was a son, Douglas Warner on January 19, 1979; a brother, Barney Allen Warner and three sisters, Carolyn L. Mattingly, Norma L. Coslow and Bonnie L. Curtis.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Curtsinger Warner; two daughters, Pam Warner Quintana of Springfield and Patricia Warner Shelton (Joey) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Michael Reynolds (Rachel), Miguel Shelton, Tony Matherly and Kevin Matherly (Erika); two great grandchildren, Ethan Matherly and Oaklynn Reynolds; two brothers, William Warner of Springfield and Terry “Cotton” Warner (Penny) of Mackville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 26th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Brush Grove Cemetery.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Knowland, Kandace Warner, Patricia Shelton, Roger Seals and Julian Warner.
Serving as casket bearers will be Tony Matherly, Kevin Matherly, Michael Reynolds, Chris Matherly, Stevie Allen and Ronnie Lewis.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Sunday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
