Obituary

Peggy Ann Bugg Pinkston, age 83, of Springfield, KY passed away at 9:21 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born in Boyle County on October 6, 1938 to the late Martha Ross and William Charles Bugg, Sr.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Calvin Pinkston on June 22, 2018; a daughter, Carol Ann Pinkston on September 11, 1979; two grandsons, Garland Travis Mann on January 8, 2018 and John Wayne Pinkston on March 6, 2017 and a brother, William Charles Bugg, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Worthington (Donnie) of Springfield; three sons, Wayne Pinkston (Pam) of Louisville, David Pinkston (Timothy Ruffner) of Fort Thomas and Jerry Pinkston (Patty) of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; five step grandchildren and a sister, Jean Stringer of Waynesburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 26th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Yankey, officiating.

Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Daniel and Kasey Barr.

Serving as casket bearers will be Kenny Mann, Nick Mann, Brian Pinkston, Shad Pinkston, Tucker Pinkston, Jeremy Pinkston, Dalton Pinkston and Wesley Pinkston.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
