Peggy Ann (Stine) Pinkston

Peggy Ann Stine Pinkston, age 84, of Mt. Washington, KY passed away at 7:02 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Green Meadows Nursing Home in Mt. Washington.

She was born in Spencer County on May 27, 1939 to the late Roy Malcom and Vena Yates Stine.

She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church; a 1957 graduate of Willisburg High School, a graduate of Cosmetology School and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Leon Pinkston on August 9, 2016 and a daughter, Cathy Ann Pinkston on April 30, 2019.

Survivors include a grandson, Max Pinkston Baker of Jeffersontown; a step granddaughter, Carissa Hayes of Owensboro; a sister, Rita Shirley of Mt. Washington and two brothers, Roy M. Stine, Jr. (Judy) of Wayne, New Jersey and Timothy Stine (Judy) of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John David Lane, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Kevin Shirley, David Shirley, Timmy Stine, Casey Stine, Mark Coslow, Craig Coslow, Richie Sims and Dennis Sims.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning.
