Pearl (Burkhead) Milburn

Pearl Burkhead Milburn, age 93, of Brush Grove Road, Willisburg, KY passed away at 5:30 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at her home.

A native of Washington County, she was born on March 30, 1929 to the late William Harrison “Will” and Jeanette B. Hill Burkhead.

She was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Arthur Milburn on May 13, 2010; a brother, Stevie Burkhead on January 31, 1994 and two sisters, Margie Sims on October 1, 2006 and Ruby Scott on July 6, 2021.

Survivors include two sons, Brad Milburn (Rita), Roger Milburn; a daughter, Lisa McMichael (Don) all of Willisburg; three grandchildren, Melissa Richmond (Sean) of Harrodsburg, Brandon Curtsinger (Audrey) of Lawrenceburg and Brittany Wells (Nathan) of Salvisa and a sister, Virgie Hardin of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, December 21st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Hood, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Curtsinger, Larry Scott, Darrell Scott, Don McMichael, Paul Sims and Tolbert Chesser.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Wednesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
