Paul Duane Burkhead

Paul Duane Burkhead, age 66, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 6:05 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

He was born in Louisville, KY on January 30, 1957 to the late Rev. Albert and Ella Mae Hood Burkhead.

He was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, a 1975 graduate of Johns Creek High School in Pike County, a United States Marine Veteran and a former employee of The Presbyterian Center in Louisville and the Camber Corporation.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Rita Mae Hodge on December 13, 1973.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Boblitt Burkhead; his son, Houston Burkhead (Jennifer England) ; three grandchildren, Ariana, Addyson and Ayden and his brother, Rev. Terry Burkhead (Sue) all of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18th at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Keith Creech, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Terry Burkhead.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Burkhead, Ronnie Waldridge, Clint Boblitt, Mike Deacon, Heather Wilson and Janice Boblett.

Visitation will be at the church from 4 until 8 Wednesday and after 9:00 Thursday morning until time of the service.
