Nyoka Ann (Grigsby) Wierman

Nyoka Ann Grigsby Wierman, age 74, of Springfield, KY passed away at 11:12 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her home.

A native of Perry County, KY, she was born on February 18, 1948 to the late Seldon and Cinda Hudson Grigsby.

She was a member of the River Of Life Church, a graduate of Powell County High School and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She was a retired school teacher having taught at the Powell County High School.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James Edward Wierman on August 19, 2016 and her son, James Timothy Wierman on August 24, 2017.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Shively (Eugene) of Springfield; five grandchildren, Tonya Scott (Aaron), Brian Scott, Joe Shively (Amanda), Marie Shively and Krissy Smith and two great grandchildren, Savannah Scott and Cheona Shively.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at the River of Life Church with Rev. Troy Shelton, officiating.

Burial will be in the Wierman Family Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be from 2 until 4 Sunday at the River of Life Church.
