Mildred Rowe Cheser, age 98, of the Mooresville Community of Washington County passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Signature Healthcare in Bardstown, KY.
A native of Washington County, she was born on May 31, 1923 to the late Sam and Maggie Lawrence Rowe.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, a graduate of Mackville High School and a retired employee of Armour Food Company.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Randal Barlow Cheser on October 19, 2006; four sons, Michael Cheser, Darrol Lynn Cheser, Ronnie Gilbert Cheser and Harold Glenn Cheser; a granddaughter, Marsha Cheser; a grandson, Jeffrey Cheser; a daughter-in-law, Donna Kaye Cheser; a sister, Ina Clark and two brothers, John Rowe and Carl Rowe.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Jane Cassetty (Pat); two sons, Gerald Cheser (Lorraine) and Bobby Cheser all of Springfield; eleven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tobe Yankey, officiating.
Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Cassetty, Kevin Cheser, Tony Cheser, Rob Anders, Nathan Hoskins and Denny Cheser.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Wednesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
