Mildred Anne (Wyatt) Byrd

Mildred Anne Wyatt Byrd, age 83, of Bardstown, KY passed away at 11:16 a.m., Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Traditions at Beaumont in Louisville.

A native of Anderson County, she was born on July 14, 1941 to the late John and Lula Barnett Wyatt.

She was a member of the Mt. Washington Church of God and a former employee of the Bullitt County School System.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Orville Lee Byrd on July 15, 2024 and a sister, Josephine Wyatt.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Lile (Larry) and Barbara Banks (Robert); three sons, Roger Byrd (Kim), Michael Byrd (Phyllis) and Doug Byrd (Taressa) all of Bardstown; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 21st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Leece, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.            

Visitation will be after 10:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
