Michael Lynn “Mike” Tyler

Michael Lynn “Mike” Tyler, age 74, of Springfield, KY passed away at 2:52 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Harrodsburg, KY on June 2, 1949 to the late John Charles “J.C.” and Geneva Young Tyler.

He was a member of the Springfield United Methodist Church, a 1967 graduate of Boyle County High School and a retired employee of American Greetings where he was employed for forty-seven and half years.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Russell Tyler; a son, Timothy Tyler (Karen) of Danville; a daughter, Laura Russell Sandefur (Jason) of Paris; four grandchildren, Shannon Coyle (Trevor) of Danville, Kyle Tyler of Danville, Allison Cascio (Jacob) of Paris and Jared Sandefur of Paris and a brother, Morris “Rudy” Tyler (Evyonne) of Junction City.

A private graveside service will be held Monday, November 13th at the Bellevue Cemetery in Danville with Rev. Amy Call, officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Tyler, Kyle Tyler, Jared Sandefur, Jason Sandefur, Jacob Cascio and Rudy Tyler.

There will be no public visitation.
