Michael Travis Bugg, age 49, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home after an illness.
He was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on February 2, 1971 to the late Russell and Ann Logue Bugg.
He was a 1989 graduate of Washington County High School. Travis was a former employee of Springfield Baptist Church; a fifteen year employee of Morris Sweazy Painting; a thirteen year employee of Frantz Mechanical of Lexington and was owner of T-Squared Home Repair.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Jerry Allen Bugg on June 5, 2019.
Survivors include, his wife, Terri Tabor Bugg; a daughter, Kennedy Bugg; three sons, John, Thomas and Ben Bugg; a brother, Russell W. Bugg; two nieces, Lisa Smith (Jodie, Jr.) and Megan Travis (Lee) all of Springfield; a step-niece, Emerald Spalding and a step-nephew, J.T. Spalding.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 20th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Nordy Votaw, Sarah “Pooh” Votaw, Deonza Engle, Angela Smith and Anthony Gibson.
Casket bearers will be Brad Lewis, Jonathan Votaw, Jeff Votaw, Tim Graves, John Cambron and Jarrod Noel.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Saturday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
