Maxine Trent

Joyce Maxine Trent, age 84, of Jimtown Road, Springfield, passed away at 7:35 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

A native of Tennessee, she was born on May 28, 1936 to the late John Frank and Myrtle Vancleave Deeter.

She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, a homemaker and an employee of the former Cecconi’s Restaurant.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond Trent on December 11, 1973 and two sons, Roger Lee Trent on September 7, 1974 and Clayton Trent of February 24, 2003.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Trent of Willisburg; a son, Wayne McMackin of Lebanon, TN; a foster daughter, Misty Alfaro of Springfield; two grandsons, Austin Trent (Michele) and Jason Trent; two foster grandchildren, Danielle Ray and Isaiah Lopez; three great grandchildren, Autumn, Whitlee and Trevor Trent and a foster great grandson, Ronald Lynn Ray.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 2nd at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Franklin, officiating.

Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Trent, Trevor Trent, Junior Trent, Marvin Trent, Eddie Bottoms and Irvin Abell.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Thursday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
