Mary Ann Warner Thomas, age 79, of Taylorsville, formerly of Washington County passed away at 3:17 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Green Meadows Nursing Home in Mt. Washington.
A native of Washington County, she was born on November 3, 1944 to the late J. Norris and Mary Nancy Settles Warner in Lebanon.
She was a graduate of Springfield High School, a member of Okolona General Baptist Church and a retired bank teller at Forcht Bank.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Corbett Lawson and Billy Lawson and a sister, Lou Wilkerson.
She is survived by two sons; Roger Thomas (Mona) of Campbellsville and Troy Thomas (Dana) of Taylorsville; three grandchildren, Jessica Reynolds (Kyle), Savannah Nash (Nathan), and Matthew Thomas (Crystal); five great grandchildren, Phoenix Reynolds, Conrad Reynolds, Emmett Nash, Ariya Nash and Theodore Thomas; a sister, Norris Marie Hardison of Wilmore and two brothers, Donnie Ray Warner of Bardstown and Terry Warner (Sandy) of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Thomas, Nathan Nash, Kyle Reynolds, Tommy Hardison, Daniel Warner and Ryan McKinney.
Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
