Mary Cheser Obituary

Mary Wanda Burba Cheser, age 69, of New Haven, KY passed away at 6:47 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2023 at the Landmark of Bardstown Care Center.

She was born in Lebanon, KY on January 24, 1954 to the late William Robert and Mary Patricia Gootee Burba.

She was of the Catholic faith, a graduate of Nelson County High School and a former cook for Holiday Inn of Bardstown and the Old Kentucky Home Country Club.

Preceding her in death was an infant sister, Mary Katherine Burba on July 31, 1955 and a brother, Robert Joseph “Bobby Joe” Burba on June 9, 2022.

Survivors include her husband, William Marce “Marty” Cheser; a step-son, Alex Cheser (Velvet) of New Albany, IN; two sisters, Gail Bowling (Johnny) and Marlene Cross (Allen) and a brother, Mike Burba (Janice) all of Bardstown.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen and no formal services are planned at this time.
