Mary Helen (Oder) Tingle

Mary Helen Oder Tingle, age 84, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 7:43 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home.    

A native of Washington County, KY she was born on December 29, 1940 to the late Reuben and Catherine Marksbury Oder.

She was a homemaker and a caring mother to her children and many other children during her lifetime.    

Preceding her in death was her husband, Jessie Ray Tingle on February 15, 2006; a daughter, Mary Jean Tingle; two sons, Joe Allen Tingle and Ronald Dale Tingle; two sisters, Elizabeth Baker and Jean Hamilton and three brothers, Jimmy, Charles and Joe Oder.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie (Larry) Lanham of Springfield, Beverly (Ricky) Spalding of Willisburg and Samantha (Eddie) Tingle of Lebanon; one son, Danny (Dianne) Tingle of Springfield; several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and a sister, Ruby Matherly of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Chesser, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Tingle, Wesley Tingle, Joe Tingle, Larry Lanham, Jr., Levi Deringer and Lucas Deringer.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 8:00 Tuesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
