Mary Ellen Crouch Logsdon, age 88, of Springfield, KY passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Starling at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, Florida with her daughter by her side.
A native of Washington County, she was born on June 15, 1932 to the late Ruel and Myrtle Coulter Crouch. She attended Temple Baptist Church and graduated from Springfield High School. She began working at Cowden Manufacturing out of high school and after farming, working for the school system and the water company, she ended her career as the Director of the Springfield Housing Authority.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Sweazy, a brother, Don Crouch, her former husband, Carroll Logsdon and three grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori King (Craig) of St. Augustine, FL; a sister, Robbie Langford (Billy) of Springfield; two grandchildren, Evan King (Lauryn) and Emily King of Ponte Vedra, FL; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating.
Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Langford, Mark Sweazy, Rob Medley, Mike Epperson, Danny Carpenter and Willie Ellery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church Building Fund.
