Marshall Ray Smith

Marshall Ray Smith, age 31, of Willisburg, KY passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 in Willisburg.

He was born in Louisville, KY on October 24, 1992 to Daniel Joe and Annette Chesser Smith.

Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather, William Marshall Chesser; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Emma Lee Smith and two uncles, Frank Mitchell Smith and Lee Ray Smith.

Survivors include his son, William Marshall Smith; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Ann Chesser; his mother, Annette Chesser Smith and his father, Daniel Joe Smith; two sisters, Danielle Pierce (Larry) and Emma Benham (Lawrence), all of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tina Standiford officiating.

Burial will be in the Ernest Thompson Memorial Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danielle Pierce, Jacob Smith, Daniel Smith, Larry Hardin, Tracy Hardin and Bubba Pierce.

Visitation will be 2 until 8 Thursday and after 8:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
