Clyde Marshall Chesser, age 86, of Mt. Zion Road, Willisburg, KY passed away at 2:18 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Washington County, he was born on December 11, 1934 to the late Walter and Esper Chesser.
He was a member of the Chaplin Baptist Church, a retired employee of General Electric and a farmer.
Preceding him in death were five brothers, Sammy, Truman, Virgil, J.B., and Raymond Chesser and nine sisters, Lillian Byrd, Louise Milburn, Robbie Stone, Sudie Baker, Artie Thompson, Mattie Holt, Reva Hust, Wanda Mae Pritchard and Merine Lewis.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Haydon Chesser; a son, Bruce Chesser (Sharon); a daughter, Lisa Moore (Timmy) of Willisburg; two grandchildren, Craig Michaels (Lora) and Amanda Spalding (Scott); five great grandchildren, Avalyn, Jackson, Hadley, Sophie and Erika and two sisters, Betty Curtsinger of Willisburg and Martha Hood of Springfield.
Funeral services will be private at Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Serving as pallbearers will be Timmy Moore, Scott Spalding, Craig Michaels, Keith Stone, Jackie Holt and Glenn Chesser.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Tuesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
