Linda (Morgan) Chesser

Linda Morgan Chesser, age 85. of Willisburg, KY passed away at 4:24 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the Signature Health Care of Spencer County at Taylorsville.

She was born on September 14, 1940 in Anderson County to the late Carl Coleman and Marjorie Blockson Morgan.

She was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Truman Chesser on Oct. 22, 2009; a daughter, Joetta Marie Curtsinger on Mar. 19, 1988, a son, Shaun Chesser on July 2, 2022; a granddaughter, Tabitha Pedigo on Dec. 21, 2025 and a brother, William Ray Morgan on Nov. 21, 1994.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Burkhead (James) of Bloomfield; a son, Mike Chesser (Mary) of Willisburg; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a brother, Larry C. Morgan (Linda) of Anderson County.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28th at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Mike Willingham officiating.

Burial will be in the Brush Grove Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Nathaniel Chesser, Austin Burgin, Kyle Burgin, Tristen Burgin, Hunter Burgin, Blake Burkhead and Brennan Burkhead.

Visitation will be at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy on Monday from 4 until 8 and after 8:00 Tuesday morning.
