Mrs. Linda Chesser Brown, age 69, of Chaplin, KY passed away at 9:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home.
A native of Nelson County, she was born on November 24, 1951 to the late Rollin and Mary Emma Foster Chesser.
She was a member of the Chaplin Baptist Church, a 1970 graduate of Nelson County High School, a homemaker and a retired employee of the Nelson County Board of Education.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Malena Brown Washburn on November 22, 2014 and a sister, Rosemary Boblitt on April 27, 2019.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Brown; a daughter, Michelle Coulter (David) of Chaplin; four grandchildren, Dylan Coulter (Michaela), Megan Coulter, Courtney Collins and Trevor Collins; a step-grandson, Ethan Coulter; a great grandchild, Ariana Barnett and another expected in December; two step great grandchildren, Chevelle Coulter and Emmarie Coulter; her step-mother, Catherine Chesser of Bloomfield; two sisters, Patricia Mars (Larry) of Arkansas and Denise Wilson (James “Bo”) of Versailles; two brothers, Mike Chesser of Bloomfield and Marty Chesser (Becky) of Glendale and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Millard Ledford, officiating.
Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Visitation will be after 11:00 Wednesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
