Lee Staten

Arthur Lee Staten, age 55, of Gravel Switch, formerly of Washington County, passed away at 3:36 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home after an illness.

He was born on October 25, 1965 to Billy and Ina Jean Goode Staten.

He was a graduate of Washington County High School and an employee of R.R. Donnelly Company of Danville.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn King Staten; a step-daughter, Ashley Abt (Jason) of Wisconsin; two step-sons, Matthew Brock (Robin) of Gravel Switch and Chris Brock (Marsha) of Somerset; ten step grandchildren; his parents, Billy and Ina Staten of Gravel Switch and three sisters, Sandy Hartman of Springfield, Annette Russell and Jeannette King (Junior) of Gravel Switch.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Wilson, officiating.

Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Brock, Ricky Staten, Tommy Lee Lanham, Brandon Coulter, Junior King and Edward Godfrey.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
