Laurie Ann (Mattingly) Martinez

Laurie Ann Mattingly Martinez, age 61, of Reseda, California, formerly of Springfield, KY passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Lebanon, KY on February 13, 1962 to the late Thomas Louis and Shirley Ann Smith Mattingly.

She was a former member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, a graduate of Washington County High School and an employee of Rite-Aid.

Preceding her in death were two nephews, Brian Thomas Mattingly on May 16, 2000 and Andrew “Drew” Richardson on October 24, 2005.

Survivors include her husband, Isaias Martinez of Reseda, CA; a sister, Karen Renee Bradley (Craig) of Springfield; two brothers, Chuck Mattingly of Springfield and Thomas Jeffrey Mattingly (Patty) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; a niece, April Mattingly (Josh); three nephews, Derek Mattingly, Aaron Bradley and Eric Bradley (Moriah) and several great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 24th at the St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Rose Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Bradley, Joey Smith, Nicholas Smith, John Michael Smith, Eddie Blanford and Jimmy Ray Foster.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Sunday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Sunday evening at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
