Kenny Wayne Wohner

Kenny Wayne Wohner, age 66, of Bloomfield Road, Springfield, KY passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on June 23, 1956 to the late Randle B. and Fern Lanham Wohner.

He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, formerly served in the National Guard and a retired employee of IMI.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Barbara Cheser on April 7, 2001 and four brothers, Ronald Louis Wohner on August 1, 1953, Rue Allen Wohner on December 13, 2006, Joseph E. Wohner on April 21, 2016 and David Wohner on April 17, 2018.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Grimes Wohner, a daughter, Angie Chandler of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Kenny Votaw, Debra Votaw and Larry Votaw and a sister, Geraldine Noel (Lonnie) of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating.

Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Clarkson, Matthew Clarkson, William Burns, Brian Powers, James Rogers and Dave Weatherly.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
