Kenneth Crain

George Kenneth Crain, age 91, of Springfield, KY passed away at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, January 21, 2024 at his residence.

A native of Washington County, he was born on July 7, 1932 to the late John Wesley and Sadie Lucille Robertson Crain.

He was a member of the Springfield Christian Church, a retired carpenter and farmer.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Devola Ray Cole Crain on May 9, 2004; a special friend, Shirley Hardin on April 29, 2022; three brothers, Raymond Lee Crain on March 30, 1995, Thomas Allen “Shorty” Crain on October 27, 2008 and Roger Wesley Crain on July 17, 1937 and a nephew, Lynn Crain on March 5, 2023.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Kathyrin Locklin of New Haven; two nieces and five nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 26th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
