Kathy Lynn (Lawson) Wells

Kathy Lynn Lawson Wells, age 72, of Springfield, KY passed away at 1:17 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Ironton, Ohio on July 25, 1950 to the late John Taylor “J.T.” and Frances Coyner Lawson.

She was a faithful member of the Springfield Baptist Church, a homemaker and a graduate of Greenup High School and the University of Missouri.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Laura McLean.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Brian F. Wells; two daughters, Laura Boblitt (Ashley) of Willisburg and Leigh Anne Wells of Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren, Abigail VandenBroek (Nick), Max VandenBroek, Luc VandenBroek and Noah Boblitt and a sister, Lisa Von Halle (Kurt) of Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 23rd at the Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Sherrell, the church pastor, officiating.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.

Visitation will be from 2 until 5 Sunday at the Springfield Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gideons International.
