Karen Denise (Garner) Evans

Karen Denise Garner Evans, age 63, of the Mooresville Community of Washington County, KY passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at her home.

She was born on November 26, 1959 in Winchester, Tennessee to Glenn Hoyt and Carolyn Hall Garner.

She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, a graduate of Pioneer Christian Academy, a former office manager of Just Blinds in Louisville and supervisor of the former Keystone Cinema.

Preceding her in death was her son, Jeremy Evans on March 5, 1998.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Evans; daughter, Ashley Stang and her husband, Adam of Elizabethtown and their children, Avery and Asher Stang; her parents, Glenn and Carolyn Garner of Greenbrier, TN and two sisters, Kristin Womack (Currey) of Pleasant View, TN and Stacey Lindsey (Todd) of Whitehouse, TN.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Wittekind, officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Karen may be made to the Flaget Cancer Center, 4359 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown, KY 40004.
