Judy Dale (Beavers) Carey

Judy Dale Beavers Carey, age 81, of the Cardwell Community of Washington County, KY passed away at 1:15 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the U of K Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born on April 22, 1942 in Mercer County to the late Johnny Ancil and Anna Belle Ross Beavers.

She was of the Baptist faith, a 1960 graduate of Mackville High School and a retired employee of The Signet Company of Harrodsburg. She and her husband, Marvin formally sang music professionally.

Preceding her in death was a brother-in-law, Leonard Walston on August 11, 2006.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Carey; a sister, Carolyn Walston of Lebanon; two nephews, Timothy Lynn Walston (Kim) of Mt. Washington and Christopher Dale Walston of Raywick and four great nieces and nephews, Cody, Emily, Ty and Lissy Walston.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26th  at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Hilary Claypool, Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 Friday and after 8:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
