Joyce Ann (Rawlings) Reddick

Joyce Ann Rawlings Reddick, age 94, of Springfield, KY passed away at 1:54 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her home.

A native of Marion County, she was born on March 20, 1929 to the late Louis Crittenden “L.C.” and Mary Genevive Abell Rawlings.

She was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church, a graduate of St. Augustine High School and a retired employee of the Springfield State Bank where she worked for forty-two years.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Arvie O. “Jack” Reddick on February 12, 2010; two grandchildren, Maria Roberts and Jonathan David Roberts; a brother, Louis C. “Crit” Rawlings and three sisters, Dorothy Jean Rawlings, Ethel Gay Tatum and Mary Susan Rahubka.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Roberts of Springfield; a son, Tom Reddick of Bardstown; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister, Jane Greenwell (Kenny) of Knoxville, TN and a brother, Bill Rawlings (Judy) of Louisville.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2nd at the St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. David Ferrell and Rev. Culpepper Elliott, officiating.

Burial will be at the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday, September 1st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 9:30 Saturday morning at the church.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Friday evening at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.

Contributions may be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church or Hosparus.
