Joseph C. Robinson

Joseph C. Robinson, age 85, of Springfield, KY passed away at 6:12 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Signature Health Care of Spencer County in Taylorsville.

A native of Washington County, he was born on September 16, 1938 to the late Joseph C. and Bessie D. Mayes Robinson.

He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, a 1957 graduate of Springfield High School and a retired employee of Lincoln Homestead State Park in Springfield. Joe was known for his artistic ability having hand painted many pictures and signs.

Preceding him in death was his daughter-in-law, Angela C. Robinson on December 29, 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Wright Robinson; his daughter, Cassie Robinson, his son, Bill Robinson all of Springfield; his two grandsons, Seth Robinson of Louisville and Aaron Robinson of New York City and a sister, Elizabeth R. “Corky” Keeling (Leo) of Springfield.

Funeral services and visitation will be private.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Dominic School.
