Joseph Allen Chesser

Joseph Allen Chesser, age 69, of Springfield, KY passed away at 10:25 a.m., Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on February 7, 1956 in Lebanon, KY to the late Herman and Susie May Carrico Chesser.

He was a 1974 graduate of Washington County High School, a longtime former member of the Springfield Fire Department and a former employee of North American Pipe of Springfield and a retired employee of Orbis Plastic Manufacturing in Bardstown.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Vicky Lynn Barger Chesser on April 6, 2023 and a daughter, Melissa Lynn “Misty” Sapp on April 3, 2008.

Survivors include his sister, Penny Begley of Springfield and two nieces, Julie Jones (Thomas) of Cecilia and Christina Begley of Elizabethtown.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.
