Jonathan Douglas Roution, age 50, of Springfield, KY passed away at 5:55 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born in Columbus, Georgia on January 24, 1975 to Douglas and Debbie Stine Roution.
He was an employee of Lipari Foods where he served as transportation manager, a former firefighter for the Woodburn Fire Department, former chief of the Mackville Fire Department, a former EMT for Lincoln County and an EMT for the Washington County Ambulance Service.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Debbie Stine Roution.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Gabhart Roution; a son, Austin Roution of Bowling Green; twin daughters, Mercedes Aliefendic (Dzevad) and Meriah Graham (Travis) of Bowling Green; two step-daughters, Kaitlyn Wilson (Mason) of Bradfordsville and Peyton Tingle of Willisburg; two step-sons: Hunter Tingle and Jesse Tingle of Springfield; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; his father and step-mother, Doug and Lola Roution of Mackville; a half-sister, Krystal Norsworthy of Casper, WY and a half-brother, Jeremy Baker of Ault, CO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Lance Ladd, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Wednesday and after 8:00 Thursday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
