Betty Jolene Boblett Altman, age 78, of Bardstown, KY passed away at 5:49 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024 at her home after an illness.
A native of Washington County, KY she was born on September 27, 1945 to the late Ernest “Buck” and Elizabeth Dean Warner.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a retired hairdresser having operated her own beauty salon.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Albert B. Boblett on October 3, 1980; her second husband, Wiley Max Altman, Sr. on July 14, 2019; two sisters, Donna Brown on December 23, 2006 and Dorothy Uptagraft on February 22, 2012 and two brothers, Bobby Warner on December 11, 1996 and Billy Warner on April 14, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Boblett (Lisa) of Springfield and Dewayne Boblett (Karen) of Bardstown; a daughter, Carla Rogers (Scott) of Bardstown; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A special thanks to her lifelong friend, Barbara “Bo” Pulliam.
In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen and a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:30 on Thursday, June 6 with memorial service at 7:30 with Rev. Tobe Yankey officiating.
