John Delbert Curtsinger

John Delbert Curtsinger, age 71, of Mackville, KY passed away at 2:46 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 30, 1951 to the late Homer and Ida Mae Herring Curtsinger.

He was a member of the Mackville Church of Christ, a retired employee of Pilkington of Versailles, was an army veteran and was an employee of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office serving as a court security officer.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Shumate Curtsinger; a daughter, Melinda Mae Mungarro (David) of Junction City; a step-daughter, Laura Hood of Willisburg; a step-son, Steven Settles (Bonnie) of Mackville; a granddaughter, Amber Nichole Rankin of Stanford; five step grandchildren and great grandchildren and a brother, William Lee Curtsinger of Nicholasville.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pater, officiating.

Burial will be on Friday at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville where military rites will be conducted.

Visitation will be after 3:00 Thursday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
