John Tyler "J.T." Brothers

John Tyler “J.T.” Brothers, age 88, of the Fairview Community of Washington County, KY passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at his home.

A native of Washington County, he was born on July 23, 1937 to the late Morgan and Clara Wilson Brothers.

Preceding him in death was a grandson, Gary Fallis; a brother, Junior Brothers; two half-brothers, Richard Allen Brothers and Arthur Eugene Brothers and a half-sister, Barbara Dean.

He was a retired employee of Armour Food and later the Conagra Company and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-seven years, Margaret Drury Brothers; a daughter, Veanna Keeling (Warren); two sons, Nathan Brothers (Kim) and Scott Brothers (Michelle) of the Fairview Community; six grandchildren, Chrystal Perry, Jared Keeling, Georgia Bell Brothers, Madeline Brothers, Heather Brothers (Fred) and Tyler Brothers (Courtney); ten great grandchildren; a half-sister, Mary Ellen Hagan and two half-brothers, Michael Brothers and Ricky Brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16th at the Fairview Christian Church with Rev. Winfred Hagerman and Rev. Bobby Chesser, officiating.

Burial will be in the Brothers Family Cemetery at Fairview.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Keeling, Tyler Brothers, Dylan Spencer, Fred Spencer, Connor Brothers and Justin Jones.

Visitation will be at the Fairview Christian Church after 10:00 Saturday morning.
