Obituary

Jesus Gonzalez Gomez, age 75, of Springfield, KY, passed away at 4:15 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on November 6, 1945 in La Rivera Jalisco, Mexico to the late Jose Gonzalez and Otilia Gomez.

He was of the Catholic faith and had been an employee of the Kalarama Horse Farm in Springfield, Kentucky for the past forty-five years.

Preceding him in death were siblings, Maria Gonzalez, Abigail Gonzalez, Emilia Gonzalez and Guadalupe Gonzalez.

Survivors include his sister, Evangelina Gonzalez and two brothers, Salvador Gonzalez and Enrique Gonzalez all of Mexico; several nieces and nephews and a longtime friend, Larry Hodge of Springfield, KY.

Funeral services will be private with Rev. Culpepper Elliott, officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral services and burial of his cremains will be in Mexico.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
